Message from Dan Purdie MP

Since 2017, I have been serving the people of Ninderry. Before that, I served in the Queensland Police Service for 25 years and I am passionate about keeping our community safe. That’s why I made the transition from catching lawbreakers, to joining lawmakers and now I proudly serve as Minister for Police and Emergency Services.

I am proud to be a member of David Crisafulli’s LNP team, and together we are committed to securing Queensland’s future. One where our best days are ahead of us.

Safety Where You Live

  • New laws to crack down on hate speech and antisemitism
  • Reforms to keep firearms out of the hands of terrorists and criminals

  • Abolishing stamp duty on new homes for first buyers
  • $2 billion Residential Activation Fund to fast-track new developments and unlock more than 98,000 homes across Queensland
  • Nearly 6,000 social and community homes under contract or under construction under the Crisafulli Government

A Better Lifestyle Through a Stronger Economy

  • Upgrading hundreds of grassroots sports facilities with the Games On! Program
  • Reducing the cost of public transport with permanent 50 cent fares
  • More affordable and accessible kids sport with $200 Play On! Voucher Program
  • A $100 Back to School Boost for primary aged children to help cover the cost of school essentials
