Member for Ninderry Dan Purdie MP recently had the pleasure of sharing some great news with three local community groups who received grants in the latest round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF).   

Clayden Potter and Associated Crafts received $25,7884 to purchase a new Kiln.  

The C&K Coolum Community Childcare Centre will welcome new ceiling fans as the weather heats up thanks to their grant of $7,460.  

Peregian Springs State School P&C have secured $80,000 to go towards the construction of a new tuckshop they have been working so hard for. 

Dan Purdie MP said the GCBF grants are a lifeline for groups that have faced challenges when budgets have been stretched by cost-of-living increases. Every little bit goes a long way.  

“I can’t wait to see the Peregian Springs State School tuckshop when it is finished, having fought hard to secure $25,000 for the project in the recent state budget. 

“Every dollar invested by the Crisafulli Government through the GCBF goes directly to the heart of our communities making a big difference to so many.   

“You just have to look at the smiles on those faces to know how much the financial boost means to them.
