Member for Ninderry Dan Purdie has congratulated two long serving local residents who have been recognised for 25 years’ service as Justices of the Peace.

Valdora resident Roger Page and Bli Bli resident David Ireland were both awarded the special Silver Certificates yesterday, acknowledging their many years of voluntary community service.

“It is always a real honour to be able to recognise and thank locals who have given so selflessly to their community,” Mr Purdie said.

“Our JP’s provide such a valuable service, and as a community we should feel fortunate that we have these resources available locally. “I congratulate David and Roger for their contribution over the past 25 years, their dedication and willingness to help others is a wonderful credit to them.”
